Hi,
I am planning to build an eurorack modular synth, but I want to use my subsequent 37 as a sequencer, keyboard source. What I want to do is to connect the MIDI out of my subsequent 37 to a MIDI in module in my eurorack synth and then send sequencer data, arpeggiator data or simply play my eurorack modular synth with the keyboard from the subsequent 37, at the same time the subsequent 37 will be receiving MIDI clock data from my DAW and pass this clock data to the eurorack system, is this possible to do?
I will appreciate any advice.
Cheers!

Re: Subsequent 37 as MIDI keyboard for Eurorack
Should be possible.
I have not tested this, but when I have saved enough to get a minitaur I am planning to do sort of the same.
My Subsequent gets master clock from the daw AND sends midi notes out. (played manually OR via sequencer / arpeggiator)
Or even let the DAW play a sequence with the notes etc. (the manual states it can echo the incoming midi and merge it with the midi data from the subsequent)
So yes, that should work.

Awesome! I thought it would work. It would take some time until I get my modular system together, but in the meantime I can keep working only with the subsequent 37 only, I think the possibilities with this synth are so many .

True.
I only have one big issue with it.
I can't stop playing....
And when I did, I want to play more
But seriously, it sounds really nice and you can go really deep into making modulations.
I have made two short video's recently that did not take too long to make and show just how versatile it is.
The first one is multitracked to mimic polyphony (that is the only thing I miss actually)

This one is just one patch (duo mode), but with some modulations that give it a wide spectrum!

Hehe cool demonstration of the possibilities of this synth with Reason 10. Liked your videos, I like the the whole process is very hands on .
Cheers.
