I have searched this forum for about an hour or so (and the www also) but can't find a good answer.
What I am thinking about is using a DAW or Drum machine as my master and sync the midi clock to a subsequent 37.
That should not be a problem when reading the manual.
But I would also like to hook up another synth to that chain and have it receive the midi clock.
(nothing else would be great, but I think I can let the synth listen only to the clock)
So in short : DAW sends midi clock to Subsequent 37 (via MIDI IN) and the subsequent 37 sends the midi clock to another synth via the MIDI OUT. (preferably without any other midi messages)
Is that possible (since the Sub(sequent)37 don't have MIDI THRU)?
Thanks in advance!
Peter
Will a sub(sequent)37 send incoming midi clock via midi out?

Yes, it automatically sends the incoming clock.

Thanks a lot. And can I suppress other midi data?
(I don’t want the other synth to receive the notes that I play on the sub)

MIDI clock is not per channel, but global. So all you have to do, is setting the other synths to other MIDI channels as the sub(sequent)37.
keep on turning these Moog knobs
Sequence:
Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16
