I wanted to share my latest Max for Live creation, the Voyager XL MIDI Controller. This is a derivative work of MOSCO Moog Voyager (Max for Live Voyager MIDI controller) adapted to work with the Voyager XL.
This extends the original device as follows:
* All LFO2 parameters for the XL, many of which are only available through MIDI
* Full Push 2 mapping
* Moog-styled XL interface
* Minor bugfixes in parameter names
I also updated the patcher layout for easier debugging and reverse engineering.
TESTED ONLY IN LIVE 10.0.6 WITH MAX 8.0.2! This may not work with Live 9 or Max 7.
The Voyager XL MIDI Controller can be found for free at maxforlive.com at the link below.

Re: Voyager XL MIDI Controller - Free Max for Live device
that is pretty cool!
thx for posting...I do not use any of that yet, but who knows I may in the future
cheers

Re: Voyager XL MIDI Controller - Free Max for Live device
I just updated this to version 1.1 to fix some bugs. I also added more documentation on the M4L page for the setup.
Tested:
* 10.1.1 with Max 8.0.4
* Not compatible with Live 8, may not work with Live 9
V1.1 Updates:
* Fixed CC values for some controls
* Cleaned up patchers to ensure portability/compatibility
I will create more videos towards the end of the year, but here are some ways I'm using the controller now:
1. Chords via automation of OSC2 and OSC3 pitch
2. More LFOs (or any other modulation, especially multi-stage function generators) [subject to MIDI bus saturation]
3. Sequenced Sync/FM on/off and modulator pitch
4. Panning automation
5. MIDI-to-CV via the patch panel

Re: Voyager XL MIDI Controller - Free Max for Live device
wicked, thanks!
still not using MIDI with the XL, but I like the access to all the LFO2 modes
quick question: if you are not actually modulating LFO2 via MIDI, then there is no issue of saturating MIDI bus, when running multiple LFO2's as simultaneous modulators, correct?
