The resonance will also be able to track the keyboard accurately on the Little Phatty. Moog really came through for us on this one!
As far as glide tracking the filter, the gilde tone itself will sound smoother, especially if one use resonance or kb. control amount at a high level. Then if you use a slow portamento/glide from a high note to a low note, the filter cutoff level and resonance pitch will follow the glide, instead of sounding static at a fixed pitch/level during the glide effect.
