I have a bunch of TRS cables here, that would be perfect for the Voyager XL/CP 351 etc
will they work, in place of a TS patch cable? and is it safe?
thx

Yes, but not vice versa.
Re: using TRS cables to patch, instead of TS
thanks!
I don't use balanced connectors for anything ( yet ) and ended up with a bunch of short TRS cables
glad I can put them to use

Re: using TRS cables to patch, instead of TS
TRS 1/4" cables are particularly useful with Moogerfoogers and the CP-251
as they won't short out the +5v DC that goes to Expression pedals.
It won't hurt them to use TS cables but, since the +5v DC has been (safely) shorted to ground, you can't use TRS Expression pedals in any of the other jacks until you break that short.
