LOL. As much crap as the guy got who started this thread it has actually been a good thing. I was leaving my external power supply hooked up all day and all night.......

Sounds like there is a market for a third-party higher-quality power supply with a premium XLR connector.

was thinking about this.....maybe it is cheaper than paying someone $60/hr bench time to rebuild the PS every decade or so?

and certainly less noise potential in the circuit, too?

Right , it is a plain meanwell psu with xlr plug . by the way the original plug was worn quite quickly , mini startet to make nasty things . my tech installed a neutrik plug which solves my psu problems .

I'm not familiar with the Minimoog reissue, but my Moog Liberation used an XLR plug from a remote power supply. One mistake was using the shell as ground because that connection isn't entirely reliable. Not sure if the Minimoog reissue uses the XLR shell as ground.
