Hi folks,
I am considering the purchase of a Disting Mk 4 and MIDI breakout module to use with my Subsequent 37 so that I can simulate some CV OUT to use with a minimal Eurorack system that I am putting together with a Mother 32 at its core. However, I have read that the MIDI signal output of the breakout module is set at 3.3v which is apparently the latest 'low voltage' output specification in MIDI. Devices that use the 'older' 5v signal levels may not respond to MIDI signals at 3.3v so my question is, does anyone know what specification the Subsequent 37 works to?
Thanks.
Steve

Re: Subsequent 37 MIDI signal levels
OK, in case anyone else should find themselves asking the same question, the answer is YES, the Midi 3.3v low voltage output of the Disting MK 4 does indeed more than adequately drive the Subsequent 37 and vice versa.
For reference, it is also compatible with the Mother 32 and DFAM
You heard it here first .........

Thanks for testing/confirming this. It was on my to-do list, but I got distracted by some new toys these past few weeks.
