Model D Reissue midi in modulation

Post by Siete7 » Sat Nov 11, 2017 12:50 pm

I want to buy a Model D Reissue. I have an original Minimoog (not in very good condition) and it receives pitch/mod with a Kenton Pro Solo. The Reissue it’s supposed to receive/send pitch wheel messages but no modulation via midi. Is there an easy way to do it? I use pitch/mod really a lot
Thanks in advance and sorry if there’s any similar thread, I’ve been searching for it

Of course, there is:

badly recommended.
Sadly, Moog didn't realized this by themselfs.

cheers

You could use the external MIDI interface and its built in LFO for your reissue Minimoog to get control of the modulation. Or get the MUSE add-on as Bernhard just posted. I got the MUSE and it works perfect here. I also love the ability to use aftertouch on modulation amount with this MUSE. This frees a hand on live playing.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Sequence:
Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16

Wow, thank you very much for your help, the MUSE add-on looks good, easy to install, not cheap but it's ok. Aftertouch on modulation is great too
Thanks!
