MF-108 no wet signal (MN3009 failure)

Post by tsykhra » Fri Jun 02, 2017 11:13 am

Hello!
3 days ago my beloved MF-108 stopped to process input signal. When I turnied Mix knob above 50%, the unprocessed signal passed to output and become quieter and when Mix reaching 100% - there is silence at output. I checked input and output pins of MN3009 and MN3007 with selfmade oscilloscope (jack plugged into Mic input of my RME FF800) and discovered that input signal which I plug into pedal comes to input of MN3009 normally but there is slience at output of MN3009. Looking at structure scheme in MF-108 manual I saw that Chorus comes after Flanger in serial connection. So I’ve checked input at MN3007 — silence. So I decided to connect input of 3009 (3rd pin) to input of 3007 (3rd pin too) and chorused signal appeared at output of pedal!!! So I guess I can fix it myself with solder iron, but there is a problem. The 3009 is very rare, can anyone give me trusted seller's store?

Thank you!
