Just add LFO to CV...?
I'm routing LFO sine from a 921 into a CP3 then onto the CV control input of the 921a ...
I've never been totally happy with this . On You Tube clips, I I sometimes hear a 'human type singing' vibrato on simple waveforms which seem to have quite a depth without sending the basic note off on a drunken wobble.
Anybody with any know how or tips on applying distinctive vibrato..most welcome.

Rather than utilize the CP, use the 921 Aux out and go directly to the 921a.

Thanks E...I wondered if anyone had any other method ...I still don't seem to get the "sweet" vibrato I'm looking far.
I've used the LFO into Eg controlled VCA and out again to obtain delay and also EG into LFO controller to vary speed and depth (also taking this signal into the filter as well) but as I say, I've never been totally satisfied with the results.
They are good results but not quite what I'm after.

Without being too specific to your gear, try with very small depth and rate around 3Hz (around, huh ? Tweak to desired).
If pitch modulation does not satisfy you, you can try tremolo, i.e. amplitude modulation, or filter cut off frequency modulation, always with the same rate (EDIT: sorry, I've just read you tried some of those...)
An alternative is to modulate the waveform whenever possible. Some singers have a vibrato technique which make the harmonic content change without altering that much the pitch.

In addition to the 921A, try routing LFO to the 904A cutoff CV. Another way of modulating the timbre. Use a separate attenuator.

This is my patching to get a delayed vibrato on a System 55 (click the following link for the picture).
921 oscillator used as LFO (triangle or sine wave abt 6.5Hz)
902 vca and 911 adsr are used to obtain the desired delay of vibrato after a key is down
995 attenuator, third in/out, adjusts the intensity of the vibrato varyng the gain of previous 902 vca, out of vca is connected via 994 Multiple module both at the input freq of 921A controller and 904A control input.
Other connections relate to audio patching (vcf, vca, adsr) to Trunk 8 output connected to the amplifier.

Out of curiosity how do use the delay VCA ...Lin or Exp position ?
