Making a chill phasing PWM patch with the Mother-32

Post by toper » Wed Feb 22, 2017 6:06 pm

So I created this interesting patch a few days ago and I wanted to share it with you guys
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-7nAJ9SelM

The neat thing about this patch is that it almost sounds as if there is a large number of voices being played at the same time even though there is only one real voice.
Also, due to the way the envelope and LFO are patched, it almost sounds like there are two EG's as well, there was a lot of interesting 'trickery' that went into this patch to really create this sound that wouldn't be expected from a mono synth.

Let me know what you think!

Also, there is a link to the patch below the video so that if you miss anything, you can copy the patch exactly from the post.

Thanks!
James

I love that. Such a powerful and gutsy sound from such a simple synthesiser. You explained the sound creation process very well in the video too.

Thank you!

p.s. I'm gonna steal this James :D

Yeah I really like the pulsating droniness (is that a word?) of this.
