Stuck Midi Notes after PGM-change.

Post by Sander37 » Sun Feb 12, 2017 11:02 am

I think I walked into a bug in fw.1.2.0.

I'm experiencing stuck midi-notes after program-change, when sending notes via midi, from the sub37 keyboard.

The problem mainly occurs with sounds with long release times, or with sequenced patches.

When you do a PGM-change before the current sound has died out completely, the next note will hang.
In this case the sub37 will not send a Note-off when releasing the first played note.

When Midi is disconnected from the Sub37 and Local is on, the problem does not occur.
The problem only occurs over MIDI, (Local = off) when using the Sub37 keyboard,
when using an external keyboard or other MIDI source there are no stuk notes.
To rule out the influence of my MIDI-interface I just connected a MIDI-cable from IN to OUT on the Sub37 and turned Local off.

Can anyone confirm this?

grtz,
Sander.

I get this too but it is rare. I don't use patch changes in my songs so this only occurs when I'm futzin around to find something. It is annoying but not a big deal for me.
