Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
When my Moog Sub 37 stands on a flat surface, it is wobbling. It seems like its feet are uneven. Have you encountered that issue too and what can I do to solve it (except laying something flat under a foot)? Thank you!
Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
Have you checked if the feet are actually all the same height? As a quick fix you could add one or more washers between the unit and one of the shorter feet if they are somehow not the same height. Or see if you can get replacement feet.
Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
Thank you very much for your fast reply! I will try that.
Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
After unscrewing the feet i realised that there is nothing wrong about the feet, and my Sub 37 wobbles without the feet too. Maybe it is bent a bit? Is this the case with every Sub 37? Does my warranty do anything about that? What can I do?

Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
I had a little Phatty(same enclosure) and after having the CV out option added, it sat this way too. I fixed it by gently grabbing the cheeks and twisting.
Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
Thank you for your advice! Is there any chance of damaging the Synthesizer with that procedure?

Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
If the problem is that the whole unit is a bit twisted I'd try partially unscrewing the sides and then fastening them again, meanwhile trying to get the unit more straight into shape. That won't require much force and thus will be less risky.
Re: Sub 37 uneven feet causing wobble
Thank you for all your help. I think I will contact the moog support first and ask them what to do. I just do not want any chance of infringing my warranty nor damaging such a wonderful and expensive instrument.
