I don't think it will blow anything up. As far as the light I think it's actually LED now instead of the original incandescent.

hi captain thanks for responding.

i guess im asking if it could blow up a diode or resistor inside or something if i am driving the mini into an overloaded world of distortion for an hour constantly. Im not asking if i could blow up the actual light! more if i could overheat something internally. I mean, is it a warning light for possible damage?

The overdrive light on the reissued Minimoog is a real little light bulb. Only the power light is a red LED now.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Sequence:
Prodigy * minimoog '79 * Voyager * MF102 * MF103 * MF104z * MP201 * Taurus 3 * Minitaur * Sub Phatty * MF105 * Minimoog 2017+ MUSE * One 16

I could be wrong but that teeny tiny light bulb
is the kind that used to go in phones
back before LED's.

We use to put them under the hold buttons
of those old school Rockford Files phones.

You all know the theme song right?
Landmark Mini Moog song.
