The MOSLAB 960 is an interesting sequencer Eric. Thanks for the tip. It seems to be pretty much like my 960. Does the quantizer quantize the notes like the Dotcom Q171? The MOSLAB site is a bit light on descriptions of the modules.EricK wrote:Flareless
The Moslab q960 has a version with a dual gate bus and an optional quantizer board in the 8 spaces.
Then there's the GRP sequencer which, compared to the Moon, looks like it's the most advanced. Maybe bypass the q119. It's a decent sequencer but you should do better with that system.
Eric
The GRP looks like a very advanced product. Some of the "digital-ness" is a bit frightening. I'd really like to keep as much of the modular true to the analog domain. Still it's very impressive. The cost is also quite high. Around $2200 without shipping and (gulp).... HST
Could I ask why you're not so fond of the Q119? In the comparison between it and the Q960 there seem to be some cool features the Q119 has that are missing in the Q960 (and vice versa). I figured having two sequencers with different features might be useful in creating a wider range of sequence features. It's also rather affordable.
