Power plug adaptor
Power plug adaptor
Hi, I bought a Etherwave Theremin. However, it didn't come with a plug, so I'm not sure if it works. It looks really good, my question is, I can't find an adaptor for less than £50, this seems expensive for just a power adaptor?

Re: Power plug adaptor
For Etherwave Standard and Plus need special power supplies - can be purchased here: http://www.instrumentalparts.com/moetsppa.html
Good luck in everything! Valery.

I'm in England so require a uk plug.
Re: Power plug adaptor
In some cases, you can use a simple adapter to the desired outlet connection.
Good luck in everything! Valery.
Re: Power plug adaptor
Also mines a 5 pin plug and most are now 3 pin???
Re: Power plug adaptor
The adapter is a step-down transformer AC to AC. With the output 14 VAC, 200 mA. You can use a 3 pin connector, since the pin 4 and 5 are not used. Attach a drawing of the electrical circuit.
Good luck in everything! Valery.

I second that thank you, Valery. I came to this forum specifically for that answer and your wonderful drawing helped me a lot. Re: Power plug adaptor
Hello! I accidentally made a mistake in the numbering of connector theremin (right picture). You need to define counter-clockwise: first from right, third from the left. But on the schema the adapter is not affected.
The design of the adapter is correctly.
