I've been trying to learn more about the Cluster Flux before pulling the trigger and making the purchase.. wondering if anyone here has any experience using the effects loop, and what types of pedals you've tried with it? I've been wondering how a pitch shifter like an older boss ps2 might sound in there.

The Effects Loop of the Cluster Flux yields some simply amazing versatility.
It works beautifully with phasers, filters and sequencers like the MURF. Try it. Go get yourself a cheap Hosa Insert 1/4" TRS to 2 1/4" TS and start plugging things in.
I used the Moog phaser in the effect loop on both these tracks:
