SN: 01725
purchase date was January 2014, but the first Sub 37 I received had the filter cutoff issue, so I've returned it.
the new one's delivery date was 21 November 2014
built : 10/2014
location: cardiff, united kingdom
purchased from: andertons uk
history: very disappointing keyboard for a £1200 machine. totally different keys from the 1st Sub 37 I had (they were sort of ok). These ones feel very stiff, velocity response isn't accurate enough. I play the piano since I was little and I love it, but honestly I avoid playing the Sub 37's keys - it's that disappointing! I was considering to return it in order to get one with better keys, but the distributor couldn't guarantee me a better keyboard + there is still a chance to have the filter cutoff problem on the new one... so I guess I have to make a compromise. happy with the sound of it though

Hi Everyone,

Andy Hughes from Moog Tech Support here!

This thread is a very useful feedback tool for us, and if one of you fine folk are acting as curator for compiling this data, it would please me greatly if you could email me the document once in a while for my records. I will be a huge help in tracking issues, and general customer satisfaction, which is very important to us here at Moog.

Also, to anyone having issues that might require a repair, please contact me directly at [email protected] or by phone (828)-251-0090 xt. 221, 217, and 204.

Thanks, you guys are great!

Hi Andy,

I do maintain a very crude and simple text document based on all the answers, that is the origin to feed the first post of this thread. I'll continue to maintain this the most up to date I can. If sadly one day I'll decide to stop doing this, I'll let the forum know and I'll transfer the file to the next one willing to maintain this. In the meantime, I can already send you the current version by email. I'm really happy this can help you.

All the very best,

Greg

Andy, you and your colleague at moog music are also great - and ... a cool decision of Mr. Adams, to sell 49% to you employees. I think that increases the sense of belonging of all moog-workers. I think that they also become more proud of beeing members of the company, that started it all. And I'm getting much more proud to own and play a moog synthesizer. :D

My Sub37 is still on the list (#00385) but I have an update: The faulty cutoff-pot was still replaced last week by the authorized polish service technician. He has done a good job and now it works again, as it should. 8)

Best regards from germany
Heiko

Hi greg et all,
This could be perfect if it was on something like Google Docs.
Or is that a bad idea for reasons i'm not aware of?
Thanks!

Number 29 was received by me in August 2014 in Seattle, unfortunately with broken buttons and shipped back to Sweetwater. I like to think it was a small enough fix that someone got it again.

Replaced with happy number 307, no issues, also in Aug 2014.

Edit: Specifically for #29, VCA Latch on and Loop buttons were defective (didn't click or light at all) so I'm guessing a button replacement would be straightforward, though I don't know.

@jabberwalky: can I interpret your sentence as such: History: No problem at all? Can you find the build date (sticker on the bottom of the synth). You place and date of purchase would be interesting too.

@ squidfood, I enter both synth in the record just to track down the problems.

Thanks both for your contribution.

You mean where turning a knob has no effect until you hit the present value (then live control takes over)? if so there is, it's in the menu "Thru" along with "ABS" and "Rel". What firmware are you on? Try the latest (1.1)
