Setting up a new computer is so boring. My program drive died a couple weeks ago. Data was on a separate drive, and replacement drives are cheap, but reinstalling the OS and programs was still a chore -- one of several reasons I keep the synths separate and record everything on my iPad.Kenneth wrote:Yeah, I caught that too. It was actually not the synth, but the Machinedrum which I'd programmed some tonal sounds into, that I never bothered to make sure was in tune with my synth. I suppose I could go back and tune it up with the synth and redo it, but I don;t think the original feeling would be there. Anyway, it's just a rough demo. I haven't been able to do any big productions lately as my computer is not feeling well in its old age. I think I will have to buy a new one soon, though in the meantime I'll just record these little jam sessions into my handheld recorder.
Is this your music? You weren't clear on that in the post. I like it a lot. Definitely has a paranormal crime-drama feel to it, reminds me of Twin Peaks or X-Files. Are you the synthesist in the recordings, or do you share synthesizer duties with your bandmates?VCS3 wrote:https://thetaraexperiment.bandcamp.com/ ... at-murders
This is quite possibly the most accessible Tara Experiment album to date.
Usually known for their Lo-Fi weirdness, the group has recorded a soundtrack for the film “The Fiat Murders”.
