Is this 64-bit or 32-bit VST and is your Ableton 64-bit or 32-bit? I believe the VSTs have to be 64-bit for 64-bit Live and 32-bit for 32-bit live. Additionally, you might have multiple VST folders - one for 32 and one for 64, and it may have been put into the wrong one? That's always been my issue when Live can't see a VST.BHC303 wrote:Still trying to figure out how to open this in ableton... I will jump on forum tomorrow. (for some reason ableton cant see it) I can search for it and ableton finds an AU unit of Ctrl i(plug search feature of live) I can open this... but cant link it up to the 104m...
I have noticed one small bug though, if you select filter type (bright) to change to dark you cant revert to back bright.
Cheers

Does anyone have an active link to the VST? The link is the OP is broken.
Thx.
Thx.
Re: MF-104M VST Controller
It's on this page: http://ctrlr.org/panels_deprecated/.
I tried it on my old macbook with the latest Ctrlr in standalone mode and the gui is not displayed correctly, I'm going to try the vst version on my dedicated machine and see if it works (I'm not very confident since the panel is on the deprecated page ).

I tried it however I'm experiencing the same GUI issue, rendering it unusable. I'm on win 7 x64.
I didn't try the vst version though. Might give that a go tonight.
Re: MF-104M VST Controller
I am interested in this if it becomes available again.

Re: MF-104M VST Controller
So, I made a device panel for Cubase for the MF-104M Analog Delay. It's not as having a proper vst editor, but it's better than none.
I mapped everything I could find in the manual, except tap tempo (I don't find an use for that in a sequencer environment).
I labelled the bypass button as "on" since I can't invert the behaviour of the button (it's lighted up when the device is active, so I changed the labelling). Same thing for the slow/fast delay time (it's the opposite of the hardware panel).
I did it in my spare time and I had very little time to play with it, but it should work fine. I don't know if it works also with the MF-104MSD, but it should if the midi implementation is the same (I didn't check the manual... worst case, you could use this panel as a basis to make one for the MF-104MSD).
Hope you'll enjoy!
