New editor? I'd be happy with the old editor.

Oh yes that'd be lovely.

I've had some MIDI issues with mine that i've reported to Amos and was told would be dealt with.. haven't heard anything from Moog since then mind you so hopefully it's made it through..

I've been tossing around some ideas for some more performance features in this thread here which I really hope gets noticed…

but to be honest just a stable reliable T3 would be a real treat..

OK, check this action out.

No editor yet (sorry!) but I do have a firmware update v2.0.4 for you to try.

In this version:
- arp midi output includes transpose value
- midi cc input/output values scaled correctly
- Note Latch should no longer get stuck
- MIDI Echo/Merge preserves original MIDI channel

mac files:
http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/ta ... 14-Mac.zip

windows files:
http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/ta ... 14-Win.zip

I have been away from Taurus 3 firmware for a while, so I might have accidentally broken things with these new changes due to my unfamiliarity with the code. I hope not, of course! :) But I do recommend testing this version thoroughly before any mission-critical applications.

Let me know how it works for you.

All the best,

Amos

Thanks for remembering us T3 users. Sadly this update arrives the day before I go on a two week holiday so I will be thinking about trying this the whole time!

Thanks Amos!

The update went fine, coming from 2.0.3

I have only tried the MIDI echo/merge channel fix and indeed, it is fixed!

Suggestions:
-Make the calibration range wider. Up to now, the limit is note 60, can it be 72?
-Add the wrap top octave behavior function, like the Minitaur does

As soon as I try all of the other new stuff, I'll do a follow up

Thankyou Amos!!!

I'll try the Firmware first chance I get, really very excited to see what effect these CC updates have.

I'm sure it's not easy to live up to your own legend mate, but, mission accomplished!

Amos,

thanks for the new firmware version.
It is nice to see support for such a synth to make it perfect, even after the end of the production run.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Amos - i just tried the FW update for the first time and the changes you've made are GREAT! My Taurus sends 14 bit/Dual Byte MIDI perfectly fine now, thank you very much. I can't express just how happy I am to have that working properly.

Next on my wish list implementing a way to put rests in on the arp.

Love your work mate, keep it up. :D

Hi Amos!
Updated FW is still not sending midi transpose values to my Minitaur ~ is there a setting on the T3 (or Minitaur) I've overlooked that would be stopping it?
thanks, Pete
