Did the Sub37 ship before the Pro 2?

Source Distro.

Sounds like it's just when they are getting over to the UK.

Really? Damn I ordered mine in February with Gear4Music and they told me they'd be the first supplier in the U.K to get them, they're telling me 1st week in September earliest now.

Just for a bit of context I think Australia is expecting our first shipment in mid August.. (Supplier is AWave/Audiochocolate)

Thinking of trying to track down an On Stage Z-Stand for it in the meantime, do a Voltor and whack my T3 between its legs.. (maybe a dual layer.. I harbour delusions of playing an Elektron Analogue Keys with my left hand, Sub 37 with my right and Taurus with my foot (but then no hands or feet left for tweaking :( )… of course, right now i'm pretty happy if I can play "Ode to Joy" one handed on any of them  )

I'm a little surprised the Moog isn't making more of a fuss now that they're shipping to people?
I was sorta expecting their sit to go down and come back with media etc.

Oh well, honestly, if the S37 arrived tomorrow i'd be too busy to give it the attention it deserves :(

I was told Audiochocolate would be getting one of the 1st International shipments - but maybe everyone is told that.
The Theremini has only just landed at Audiochocolate, so given the Theremini release & arrival time - I'd be thinking end Aug/beginning Sep.

I'm in the same boat as u psynthetic, time... I'd unpack - explore for a few hours & sob while packing it away for the next month or so... happy & sad at the same time is strange.
Oh MOOG, see how you are screwing with my emotions! :?

NovaMusik informed me that the SUB would ship late July/early Aug....Shipment notification on July 31 and delivered on Aug 1st. They did a great job of keeping me informed throughout the process. Happy Customer.

As far as the Sub37 goes....SOOO GLAD I did not pull the trigger on the Pro2 (well..not yet at least). Its warm/buzzy/distorted/clean...all at the same time. Not to mention, very easy to dial in each characteristic. This next comment is not a knock on the sub, but it is not a Voyager. I am glad it is not. It does confirm that the Voyager is the baddest boy in my rig. Layed down some pedal tones on the voyager while playing the sub on top.....happy evening! That being said, the Voyager will likely be covered for a month while I explore the Sub. Right now I have the Tempest as the clock. The sync features are where the sub really shines. I am going to assume that there are some digital components on the mods and envelopes to allow this to happen...which is fine. The midi sync on the voyage is not as user friendly as the Sub. I was a little worried that this board would be too much like the other eq I have. I am glad to say that it is a very unique sounding performance synth.

Congrats to Moog! Its MORE that what I expected.

yeah i get the feeling most of the UK outlets spin it to get the orders in. i think they are playing a numbers game to see how many people they can get a deposit from, then email and tell lies to retain as many as possible. With anything like this, it will come off the same boat, on the same container if its UK inbound. From a central distributor then allocated to all the UK outlets depending on the shipped numbers.
its such a lottery isnt it. ordering gear before its released then wondering if you will see it before your next birthday

I pre-ordered with Red Dog Music London 30th Jan and enquired this morning when they would be receiving the Sub 37. They are hoping this week or next, I'm not going to hold my breath though. :? Unfortunately the delivery when it arrives will have missed my birthday - 1st August. :(

To be fair to them, they haven't taken any deposit, they don't take anything until the item ships so I don't think that's the case. Gear4Music have always been great to deal with.

no i think you missed the point im making. its not about having taken full deposits, its a numbers game. if you promise enough people a prompt delivery date, you can retain more orders when that date gets pushed
yes gear 4 music are great. i have bought plenty there, but all salesman do the same thing regardless of where they work.
a lot of outlets will spin any info they get, they need to draw people to there shop, its the only way to survive as sales are a huge struggle, so in essence, sales depts are the same no matter what you buy and who from, they have a lot of techniques to get you to commit to them. lying is on the first page of any sales teaching lol

Yeah pretty annoyed that Awave (and myself) are still waiting in Australia. Guess I'll do my tax return this weekend for fun instead.
