Instead of just reading along and enjoying all the contributions in this thread I`ll show you some of my sounds too...

The first one is my first track using my Moog gear, Logic Pro X and the M Audio M-Track Quad. So it`s not intended to be of great musical value:

https://soundcloud.com/radioland-1/santiago-1

It`s all Sub Phatty, ClusterFlux and Delay, with three FreqBoxes through the Phaser in the background and some arpeggiation from Logic.

The second one is a long drone with three sound sources:

https://soundcloud.com/radioland-1/blic ... a-u-ussa-1

The first (center) is the Sub Phatty, which ist gated by the cp-251 square LFO out, through the MF-104M.
The second (panned right) is a Freqbox and a MF-101 talking together (107 osc out --> 101 audio in / 101 audio out --> 107 audio in, 107 sync on) with some parameters controlled by the cp-251 triangle LFO out and sample and hold.
The third (panned left) is noise from the cp-251 through the lag and ClusterFlux. The 108M is almost in self-oscillation and the mix close to 100% wet.

I just enjoyed myself, using as many patch cords as possible and controlling parameters of all three voices live.

Enjoy! 8)

Cheers, radioland

Hi everyone!

I am debuting my new project, "man, woman, friend, computer". I just played a set at moogfest tonight!!

Here is an interview and video for one of the songs. All the synth parts are moog and the guitar solos are moogerfooger'd out the wazoo. I posted the song a while ago, but please check out the vid and "like" it if you like it:)

Congrats on playing Moogfest! That is a dream shared by all of us but experienced by only a few. What was that experience like?

I've got a new album out as of a week ago, and I'm offering it for free as a digital download. I worked on these songs over the past winter, so it's got a bit of a cold, icy feel to it. I am very pleased. I'd also like some feedback, so let me know what you think.

Friends,
This isn't really "music" per se, as much as it is a demo, but it can stand as a solo piece of sorts:

Improvisation with Mircomoog, RE-301, and Echoplex EP-4. I tried Colorform's idea about using a delay in both the left and right channels and this was the result, so I have to give him full credit.

I think I hear the mothership coming.

haha thanks but I hardly invented it. I just got a Mackie onyx 820I ans the way I have it set up now is voyager into stereo channel, aux 1 send to delay one input with mix 100%dry, mix out to delay two input and then both delay wet outputs to the aux1 stereo return. this way I can put stereo delay on everything MWAHAHAHAHA! sounds great though EricK. those tape machines sound fantastic and of course the Micromoog as well

Just a experiment with my LP arpeggiator and the filter section, to get a better idea of what it does.

Hey Mooguys.

Here's the first track of my band's first demo. This is home made, just for finding gigs around.
The Little Phatty fulfill the bass duties as in all our songs so far.

DoNotOverThink - Faster - 6'52"
Or on SoundCloud.

Hope you'll like it :)

Thanks mate, that means a lot :)

Here is a playlist with a couple of my latest tracks that I made with my friend Matt MacInnes as Corporate Machines. They utilize the Juno-60 for most of the sounds. Thanks for listening!

Hey all

Here are two new patches with a lot of Moog gear, both recorded in one take:

https://soundcloud.com/radioland-1/alp-sigel-im-winter

Description on soundcloud:

"The usual suspects again:
- The Sub Phatty is gated by cp-251 square LFO and Freqbox osc out and provides the rhythm.
- The FreqBox audio out (cp-251 triangle LFO via negative attenuation goes into audio in) goes through the delay with s&h modulation.
- cp-251 noise through the lag processor gives the impression of an old vinyl disk.
- The Cluster Flux in self oscillation with a bit of sine wave modulation acts as a theremin.

The cp-251 controls several parameters of several Moogerfoogers.

Again - this piece is to test and show what you can do with Moog gear without pressing keys and has no greater musical ambition.

Enjoy anyway!"

https://soundcloud.com/radioland-1/gollum-in-the-cave

Description on soundcloud:

"A weird creature talking to itself in a dark cave...
- I call this patch for rhythmic sounds "cave beat". Here a Sub Phatty percussion sound is processed by the MF-108M and the MF-104M and goes then through the trinity reverb (plate setting).
- The other track is the Freqbox syncing to itself (osc out to audio in) going through the MF-101 with a lot of manual tweaking.

Some parameters are under control of the cp-251.

Enjoy this unambitious bit of exploration if you like!"

Cheers, radioland

Hello all,

I just released my new album "Northridge Sessions”. It is a re-release of songs I wrote back in the ‘80s when I was just starting out with synths and songwriting. I picked my favorites from that time period and had them professionally mastered and uploaded to bandcamp.com. At that time I had an Oberheim DX, a Korg DW-6000, a Roland Juno-106, and a Moog Rogue. I wish I still had those gems. The album or individual songs are free to download.

As always, I appreciate any feedback you have.

Mark
