Minitaur knobs controll Sub Phatty

I try to figure out some set ups with my instruments and after Logic is quit unuasble
for things i try to do, i thought give ableton a go.
I record a midi loop with my minitaur.
Then record a automation.
works.
then i click on the next track were my slim phatty is loaded.
I will record the slim phatty.
But from the moment i hit record, the minitaur automation is moving my slim phatty knobs.
Same i the other way.
Record slim phatty with automation.
Go to the minitaur track, and it will be automated by the slim phatty track.
Is there any way i can use both units with automation without controlling each other ?
I Know i can turn local controll off.
But than i cant automate anything ?

Sounds like you need to dive into the wonderful world of midi channels or use an interface that has separate assignable outs.
