Click tracking on Vol Input

Post by Lindsay » Tue Apr 08, 2014 7:26 pm

Hello People,

I seem to be getting a click when using a 5V gate on the Vol input of my Voyager. It's only on that input. Am I making some stupid mistake?

Cheers

The click is the sound of your Voyager going from zero sound to full on sound. This is how an analog circuit is supposed to work. Most of us would prefer to use an envelope generator to slow down that initial attack a bit.

Also, a lag processor would work well for this application, to slope/slow the attack like an envelope generator, as Vsyevolod mentioned above.
