Analog Delay 500 Plugin Editor

Post by axelisart » Wed Apr 02, 2014 4:30 am

Hi, I'm trying to use the Moog Delay 500 Plugin Editor with my 64 bit DAW (Ableton Live). It seems that the Plugin is 32 bit as my Daw simply don't see it. I would like to know if there is a roadmap to adapt this plugin for 64 bit DAWs?
Thanks

Very pleased to help :-) and to get this 64 bit version. Very impatient to test it. I will report asap about my experience on it.
Thanks a lot for your reactivity.

Hi, I tested the 64 bit version of Moog Delay Editor on my Ableton 64 DAW. Plugin load on my tracks correctly but I got a problem on automations. Any automation push the CPU to very high usage (from 60% to 80%) wich causes crackle on sound. Even If I create an empty project with just one track and one automation (time for example) it load the CPU too much to be exploitable. I works on Windows 7 64 bit.
Any Idea on this ?
Thanks

Hi again,

Okay, thanks for the feedback!!! I will pass this along to our firmware engineers for review, and see if they have any suggestions or ideas what might cause such a behavior.

Send me an email to [email protected] so that I have a way of getting back in touch with you!!!

Thanks!

Hi is there any info on this being adapted to 64bit for Mac OS? Im having to use a AU 32>64Bit wrapper to use this in Logic or Pro tools but this also spikes the CPU quite high.

An update to 64bit on OS would be a lie saver instead of using walk arounds.

Thanks

Is anybody out there successfully using the Delay 500 editor with an M1 Mac? I've recently upgraded and can't get my AU plugin to work on Monterey (it does pass authorization no problem but then it won't load.)

Wondering if I need a 32 to 64 bit bridge or something...

Cheers!

Just a quick follow up in case anyone is interested, I've had no success getting the AU to run so I instead made couple of custom Environment Layers in Logic (my primary DAW) for my 104m and 108m respectively.
While I can't automate anything, I have full remote MIDI control of all the parameters allowing me to tuck the Moogerfoogers away out of reach to save my extremely limited desk space!

If anyone wants a copy of the Logic session with the layers I'd be happy to share it.👍

I am also looking forward to Moog making the plugin and standalone editor compatible with Mac Silicon. Any word Moog on this happening? It accesses aspects of the Delay that are not on the front panel I use a lot.
