New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes
New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes
Hi folks!
I know a lot of you have been waiting a long time for an MF-104M update.
Here one is.
In this version, the Time LED is always in sync with the delay time, including modulation...
and you can tap in a tempo, then turn modulation up and back down and return to your original tapped-in tempo, or tap in a new tempo, with no problems.
here is a download:
http://www.moogconnect.net/downloads/MF ... v1_0_3.zip
If you have additional MF-104 requests, or any issues with this version, please let me know.
Thanks!
Amos

If you are using the MP-201 to do your USB midi to din midi conversion use the Elektron C6 software to send the SysEx. Midi-ox was not liking this option.
Re: New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes
Is anyone having any further trouble with the MF-104M now, or is it good to go?
Thanks,
Amos

Hey Amos. I still have that phenomenon: when increasing the modulation amount, there is a value from which the time "bumps". I don't remember whether it is part of the bugfixes or not.
Anyone, any impression?...

Dumb question: How do I get the update file from my Mac to my MF-104M? The only device handling Midi I have is the Sub Phatty...
Sub Phatty, MF-101, MF-103, MF-104M, MF-107 (3), MF-108M, CP-251 (2), EP-2, Gibson Les Paul Studio 60s Tribute, Fender 50s Precision Bass, EBS Valve Drive, Lehle Sunday Driver, EHX Big Muff Pi, EHX Stereo Pulsar, TC Electronic Trinity Reverb, Logic Pro X

The Sub Phatty probably has MIDI USB and MIDI DIN (that's the connections available on the Little and Slim Phatty's).radioland wrote:Dumb question: How do I get the update file from my Mac to my MF-104M? The only device handling Midi I have is the Sub Phatty...
The MIDI-enable MoogerFooger's only have MIDI DIN
You'll need a standard MIDI interface - or MIDI keyboard that can act as an interface - between your computer and the MIDI DIN jack on the MF-104M...
Little Phatty Solar CV, Minitaur, Slim Phatty (x2), MF-101, MF-102, MF-103, MF-104M, MF-105M, MF-108M, CP-251 (x2), Animoog app, Filtatron app, Model D app, Model 15 app...and some 5U modular and Doepfer stuff...

Re: New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes
I wonder if there is a "MIDI merge" function like on the Phatty. That would allow you to transmit the sysEx from the computer to the Sub and having the later transmitting it to the 104 through MIDI...

Yes, same behavior here after the update...stiiiiiiive wrote:Hey Amos. I still have that phenomenon: when increasing the modulation amount, there is a value from which the time "bumps". I don't remember whether it is part of the bugfixes or not.

Re: New MF-104M firmware. Time LED, tap tempo fixes
Hi Amos, thanks for the update. I'm still having a problem with the time jumping around when I change presets on the mp201. This happens every few times I go back and forth bwtn. presets, not every time. Also happens when I connect to my computer and run a max for live patch that saves presets for me in ableton. Sometimes when I change the mp201 or the max for live device it creates a low fi type sound and some times just makes a noisy mess. I can upload a video if you need.
Thanks, Markus

Is there someone who actually updated their 104 like this? Or can somebody explain how this is done? Thanks for any help!stiiiiiiive wrote:I wonder if there is a "MIDI merge" function like on the Phatty. Actually, I think this is the expected behavior.bichuelo wrote:Yes, same behavior here after the update...stiiiiiiive wrote:Hey Amos. After all, the LFO changes the Time rate, doesn't it? From what I've been testing, when you turn the Amount knob to zero the delays and the Time led come back to the position of the Time knob.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
