@EricK
Look closely at the nameplate on the bottom right, Bob's signature is right there...

Sweet! I must say the panel and buttons strike me as very DSI-ish. This thing will look great next to my Little Phatty Tribute Edition! Probably will sound good to. Ha
Re: COMING NAMM 2014
I spotted some interesting difference between Sub Phatty Oscillators and Sub 37 Oscillators.
On Sub Phatty the range is from 0 to 12 (same with sub osc and noise) and on 37 the range is 0 to 10.
Is it something worth mentioning?

I think with the feedback you won´t need the extra boost into the filter!Fantastca wrote:I spotted some interesting difference between Sub Phatty Oscillators and Sub 37 Oscillators.

You're talking about the mixer section, right ? I don't think that those markings are in db values, otherwise they would have been indicated as such. I think they're just for positional reference purposes.

I saw that on the panel, but I was talking about on the rear extrusion that faces the audience.
Did you guys seen the full sized MS-20 kit from novamusik?

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
Yeah, about the MS-20 full size kit, have you seen the price ??? You'd be better off finding a used one already assembled...
Usually kits are less expensive than the assembled product (mini version or not), not the other way around.

I wonder if it's the same boards as the mini version.

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
I doubt it. The mini version used 1/8" jack instead of 1/4", and the pots were smaller too...
And, it's not really a kit in the traditional sense. The PCBs are already fully populated...

Re: COMING NAMM 2014
Several of my friends and I are very impressed with the Sub 37! It really is great to see how many forum and user suggestions were implemented in the Sub Phatty's big brother. There are also several good feature suggestions in this forum thread that could still be implemented before the actual production date a few months away. My own suggestion is to add a switch on the front panel to select between low or high priority keyboard triggering. Since the "duophonic" implementation here already makes use of most of the necessary circuitry to make this possible I don't expect this to be a difficult feature addition. As many of us here know, some vintage Moog synths like the MG-1 have high note priority as do some other monosynths like most or all of the monophonic part of the Yamaha CS series.

Well obviously. The Sub 37 is 2 louder. They were going to have it go to 11, but why not 1 more?Fantastca wrote:I spotted some interesting difference between Sub Phatty Oscillators and Sub 37 Oscillators.

He said that the Sub Phatty goes to 12 and the Sub 37 to 10. How do you make that into the Sub 37 is 2 louder?unfiltered37 wrote:Well obviously. The Sub 37 is 2 louder.
