COMING NAMM 2014

Post by Moog Music » Wed Jan 15, 2014 3:34 pm

This year we are unveiling two new instruments at NAMM. Since many of you will not be able to attend the show, we want to give you a sneak peak at what you will miss. We appreciate your feedback, words of encouragement, and support.

Love,
Your Friends at Moog

I like ... My Sub Phatty may be getting a new big brother to sit along side it.

* Paraphonic
* Programable arp
* Two LFO's/Mods
* Buttons and knobs for some hidden functions
* More than 16 presets ?
* 37 keys

Thanks for the preview Moog, it's hard for us Aussies to get to NAMM..

Looking good, I was thinking of trying to score myself one of the last LP Stage II's (still might.. Bobs last and Cyrils first synth, right? that's some interesting heritage..) to compliment my Taurus 3. Now I may need to wait and see what comes of this before I part with my $.

Love your work guys. 8)

….also, is that a step sequencer I see on the arp panel? Hope it's got triplets :D

I hope the Sub37 has a descent amount of CV ins and outs.
I would love to see CV control over each individual oscillator.

And holy crap if I am reading the panels correctly, you can change the filter from 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 pole, awesome!

Damn! My Sub Phatty is up for sale, together with my Novation Bass Station 2!

I hope the Sub37 has the same solid feel and keyboard as the SP and can be played just as expressive as the SP.

The Sub37 has a nice thread going over at VSE as well: http://www.vintagesynth.com/forum/viewt ... 67#p713867

I wasn't particularly taken with the Sub Phatty, but this basically resolves every issue I had with it. Duophony, super-versatile arpeggiator, extended keyboard, semi-unconventional envelopes, TWO LFOs, and did I mention it's DUOPHONIC??? PLEASE CAN I HAVE ONE RIGHT NOW????
