How many Minitaurs have been made to date?

Post by EMwhite » Mon Jan 13, 2014 10:03 am

Anybody have a guess, or a high serial number to offer up?

There is a thread on another forum about the # of modern synths made by current day Moog; looking at TaurusBass.com, I see the highest serial number of Taurus III being 1421; not bad considering the use case and cost of these. But how many Minitaurs? Mine is serial number 2264 but I've had it for about 20 months.

Anyone?

Hi,

My Mintaurs are #3148 and #4548.

The first MT i bought in APR/2013 and the 2nd just two weeks later. But both are from different dealers, which may explain maybe the big difference in numbers.

However, both numbers imply a big sell on these minitaurs. I like them, specially with those woodkits. I hope they'd make some woodkits and inverse colored frontpanel foils for the Subphattys as well. Wanna have.

Cheers

my SN is 00892, must be an early one! Are there any build differences at all in later models?
