Kind of a zoned-out meditative drone piece that I recorded with the Voyager and my Monotribe, running through the EHX Cathedral.

This one started out as a demo of the COTK C907a, but as ever, I got carried away…
All sounds are from my MU Modular, except for the strings and little melody starting around 4 mins into the track which are the Roland VP-330

I think one of the comments I received sums it up well… "nice and dreamy!"

Hope you like it !

A cover of a song from Vangelis, from the album "L'apocalypse des animaux" from 1973. The piece is called "La mort du loup" (Death of the wolf), done on Minimoog and Korg.
I tried to be as faithful to the original as possible.

Sad song, but enjoy anyway...

First thing that I did with my new Sub Phatty. Nothing special, just a simple sequence in "kosmische" style, with a boring lead on top and a dark (ie. muddy) bass down below.

https://soundcloud.com/matti-juhana/moo ... y-sequence

The envelope/VCA response is great, imo. Tight and snappy! I also found that Sub Phatty makes way better cheesy reed-leads a-la Steve Winwood, compared to Voyager/LP :P

Hey guys! Here are a couple of tracks I did last weekend. . .

This one features the XL for the main progression, with Goldie on some low end gurgly stuff. The percussion sounds are all eurorack. . .

https://soundcloud.com/tommyecho/concession-speech

This one starts out with a eurorack loop. . . the guitar is pretty severely mangled with the MF108 and MF104M. Using an expression pedal to modulate the feedback of the MF104m

hope you guys like it alright. . .

Hey Tommy,

I like where you're going with these pieces. The first one especially had a trace of Radiohead to it.

It sounds to me like your mixdown needs some work. The vocals seemed to jump out at me a bit much. Perhaps a stereo compressor thrown on the mix buss would help tame things? Or just remix with appropriate EQ to 'carve' out a place for the vocals...

Great work,

Stephen

I somehow missed the last month of this thread. Some really good tracks here!

This one is mostly Volca Bass: https://soundcloud.com/dswo/surging
The title is "Surging" but perhaps "Finally gets interesting in the second half" would be more accurate.

Here's another with the Volca and Animoog: https://soundcloud.com/dswo/coffee-and-oranges

Hi everyone,

I have released two "chapters" from a forthcoming album. Next chapter to be released is Chapter 6: Magnificent Mind. It will be released Tuesday, January 21 on Bandcamp.
