Hello,
I want to know if the external input on the Sub Phatty can boost external levels ?
I ask this because I have a modular, with an audio interface (modular to line level) which output around -24 DBu (in Live) when I directly plug it in my soundcard. I find this very quiet for records.
However I tried to plug the signal trough the SubPhatty to have more gain ( around -6 DBu ) and I have no problem to raise 0DBu with the Multidrive at 20-25%, External Audio Input at 100% and Master at 100%.
So my question, a part the Multidrive that add gain with saturation in the first quarter before adding a lot of harmonic content;
Does the External Audio Input add gain from a signal ?
Or it's just the master level output that add some volume ?
Thanks.
Sub Phatty - Ext Audio Input Gain
Re: Sub Phatty - Ext Audio Input Gain
Ext Input Level can boost up to about 2x. (Ext Input Level 50% = approximately unity gain)

Okay nice, thank you Amos.
An other question, the Subphatty Master output is +4DBu or -10 DBu ? ( Seems to be +4, but just to be sure ).
