Replacing a Voyager key

Post by jupiter » Tue Nov 26, 2013 4:17 pm

Hi all !

So I just got a few keys to replace some bad looking ones in my Voyager.

I took the keyboard off but not quite sure how these Fatar keys can be taken off... Once I take of the spring holding the key, I don't see any way to take it out without having a lot of force applied, and I don't want to break it.

Any help ?

Of course, you know that you have to take the white keys off first, otherwise you can't remove a black one ?

Usually, after removing the back spring, you gently lift the back of the key over the pivot point, and slowly pull the key forward (towards you).

Sure,

Thanks, I figured it out a few minutes after writing this post...
Best way would be placing the keyboard upside down, the spring side close to you.
Then gently forcing the spring side of the key down and pushing out from you on.

Should come out easily.
