Interesting.
This is the only pic I have of my Voyager badge without uploading another and as you can see it is much different from yours. I think you got one that was intended to ship to Britain where some other chap had a copyright on the Moog name so none of the products that shipped there could say Moog Music on it. He was making reissue minimoogs and so all of the manuals that were printed had to have all that blacked out.

That's the Voyager as sold in the UK. The Moog trademark is still owned by someone else in the UK and he won't negotiate licensing nor will he release the trademark despite having not used it since the 1990s. In order to sell products in the UK, Moog had to replace the Moog logo with "by Bob Moog" everywhere it appears - the badge, anywhere on the panel, the user manuals - everywhere. This is also true of Phatty, Moogerfoogers, Taurus products, theremins, guitars - everything.EricK wrote:Stephen,

When Tom Oberheim reissued his SEM products, had to name them "tomoberheim.com" because he lost the "Oberheim" trademark back in the 1980s.

Yes, there's a Moog sticker on the backside that you only see when you tilt the back part up. It could be a British model that was sold in the States, the Moog sticker would be easy to apply or not...EricK wrote:Yep. Does yours say Moog on it anywhere?

Korg Monotribe and a Volca Bass
A friend of mine and I are putting together a new project, and I decided to put together a minimalist liver performance rig to force myself to think a little differently than I normally do. This is what I ended up with (These aren't all "new", but most of them have been adopted fairly recently.):

Minitaur!
Local Craigslist deal I couldn't pass up. I wasn't in the market, but figured I'd give it a whirl.
