Animoog via network session

I am trying to connect the Animoog over network session 1 to use an external keyboard and can't seem to get it to work. I have followed the instructions to create the ad-hoc network on my Mac. I get everything set up using the Audio MIDI setup and connect to the ipad. The MIDI in/out settings in animoog are set to network session 1.

The next step seems to be where I am having issues. I have tried both Logic 9 and 10 and can't connect to the animoog. There are no youtube vids explaining this so is it just not possible?
GEAR: Voyager select series Maple/Electric blue, CP-251, VX-351, Etherwave Theremin, MF101, MF104m (White), MMF108m.

So there is no way to use Animoog from a MIDI keyboard (using Wi-Fi) inside Logic?
