Moogerfooger rack kit: Quick question.

Post by nectarios » Thu Apr 11, 2013 10:58 am

Do I need to take off the bottom panels?
I have them racked up with the bottom panels, although the manual says to remove bottom panels. The reason I left them is because I don't want dust going into through the middle of the Moogerfooger rack kit, as it has holes.

I just left mine on, seems like it offers some protection and they won't get misplaced...

Took mine off. A lot less weight.

I left mine on as well, and I think it probably wouldn't hurt either way. It's better to have them on than to have metal parts to have to store.

12 of 'em racked and power supplies. With the racks and cabinets, the weight starts to matter.

I'm running 14 at the moment, along with two MP-201's. It's an amazing modular system.

Wow - that is awesome!
I'm having a hard time just picturing what 12 or 14 racked MoogerFoogers looks like, much less what it takes to get them all patched in & tweaked!

I sometime have a hard time just keeping up with 3 of 'em... :)

The Foogers are adjunct to a 76 space modular system. Keeping track of patching is part of the game. And ever since Moog 'upgraded' the forum, posting pics has not been possible for me. If it takes one at all, it crops half off if it.
