:o THANK YOU, kindly! How nice to see your kind comments :D
Here's the original recording of the track which I just uploaded for you, as it sounded before adding the ambient car wash recording (not samples) you rightly heard at the intro and David's vocal performance of his poem (recorded separately sans music) : https://soundcloud.com/misterpete/free- ... t-included.

I have been working with legendary canadian poet Bill Bissett for many years. This is a track from our last album "NOTHING WILL HURT" which features buddy Eric Schenkman from The Spin Doctors, playing guitar:

Lastly, here's a track featuring poet ~ Jill Battson.
That's Jill in the cover photo for the other track making Creme Brulee for our holidays.

the car wash song has such great ambience. I don't know how you did it (only Taurus and Animoog, or did you add samples too?), but it really sounded like a "musically interesting" car wash! Your poet's piece was brilliant. I felt like a movie was playing in an adjacent room and I was listening to the action from afar... like a Terry Gilliam movie.

The other song about Creme Brulee was also very enjoyable. I feel like your music, while being your art, also has a certain sense of humor. I might be wrong in my assessment, but that's what I see. Very abstract... kind of surreal.

@ misterpete

sorry it's taken me a while to get back to you. I checked out the tracks but have yet to post some feedback for you. I'll be sure to write something over the weekend.

Thanks for sharing your music! :mrgreen:

hey guys,

here's a track that mixes some acoustic stuff with moog sounds. Most of the percussion stuff is moog voyager XL, and the ambient sounds in the last half (2 minutes in) are all made with my voyager going through a few moogerfoogers: ringmod, clusterflux, and delay. All comments are welcome of course!

@misterpete

Like I mentioned to you on Soundcloud, your music feels kind of like how Primus would if they played electronic music. The instrumental version of Car Wash was great, and your poet friend brought the track to life in the version where he read his poem.

The track with your friend from the Spin Doctors is really catchy and fun. Sorry to use the words "catchy" and "fun", but imagine the opposite! I think catchy and fun are good descriptors for that song; had I felt the track was inaccessible or boring, then I would have missed the opportunity to truly enjoy your piece. Besides, I'd take "catchy" and "fun" over inaccessible and boring any day!

great job and keep up the great work! one of my mates listened to a couple of your songs and liked them too. :mrgreen:

It's called The Voyagers.
Hope you'll enjoy :)

This one took me a long time. it is more important to me than other music I have written. I don't know why yet.
