Hi folks - long time lurker, first time poster. I wanted to share with you all this sound I stumbled upon yesterday. It's the filter from a Rogue self-oscillating, into the MF104M, with an Electro-Harmonix Micro POG on the FB Insert. There's a little reverb added, but nothing else.

Plus it seems the Moog guys made the necesary (with respect to the 104z) so that even the first repetition is affected by the external loop processors.

the MF-104(Z)(SD) behavior of playing the very first repeat without being
affected by the external effect made the EXT. LOOP far less useful.
I'm sure there are a few folks out there who have incorporated the old behavior
into their routine but, for the most part, MF-104M owners should be rejoicing
about the fact that ALL of their repeats get processed by the EXT. LOOP.
Moog was NOT kidding when they said that this delay has as many user-
requested features as possible.

For sure having the first repeat effected is a godsend. Not having that
kept me from buying the older versions.
I'm currently in the midst of trying all my pedals through the FB insert - I'll
post if anything cool comes out of it... so far, the memory man is weird, but cool.

Would you be so kind as to give me a quick instruction of how to use the FB-Insert on the MF-104M?
I would like to patch external effects into a loop which only affects the BBD feedback signal path (beginning with the first repeat ) and doesn't affect the dry signal path.

Sure thing! Get yourself an insert cable (a TRS 1/4" [or stereo] to two TS 1/4" [or mono], otherwise known as a "Y" split cable) and insert the one labelled "Tip" or "Send" to the input of the effect you'd like to insert in to the delay. Then, take the one labelled "Ring" or "Return" and patch into the output of the effect you'd like to insert into the delay. Then, plug the TRS end into the "Insert" jack on the delay. The hard stuff is done for you - the routing inside the delay is taken care of, so now you have the insert only on the wet signal, leaving the dry signal... well, dry.
