Awesome, Red! I myself took delivery of my first Q106CRS today. Did not post pics anywhere yet, but will get to it.

That's the one! It has to be ordered with the osc, making the oscillator $231 after shipping. Well worth it, though! One down, two to go. Plus two four input mixers, the MIDI interface, etc. It's going to be a loooooooonnnnnnggggggg road, but totally worth it!thealien666 wrote:

You can't go wrong with a Synthesizers.com modular. Not with a GRP A4, for that matter! One is just more expensive upfront, than the other more progressive hit on the wallet...

I prefer individual modules, but that thing looks really cool!

The A8 has everything I seek from a modular synth. I was drooling over this a few weeks ago.
Congrats on the Osc, Voltor. Now, it's about Fluxin time for you to demo the Minimoog filter.

GRP A4
Some different views to the many many knobs, switches and selectors - I really don't miss the patch cords (some years ago I worked with a Serge Modular...) - the possibilities of routing a patch are nearly indefinitely - there is a lot to explore!

That looks absolutely bad-assed amazing!
Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.
'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

How does it sound?
I'm really interested in hearing the diff between raw oscillators of this, a Voyager, and say one of the low cost OSCs from synth.com. This monster looks to have some very interesting LFO routing and filter options not to mention the sequencer and other goodies.
I can't even imagine attempting to buy something this big... it's a beauty. I assume it's hand built and delivered with white glove service? Whatever the case best of luck to you; I hope it lives up the expectation, must have been > a year in thinking about it and on order, etc.

Thanks for sharing my joy!
And yes, the A4 sounds like . . . the A4! soft, harsh, minimal, baroque, noisy, calm, fat or cute - it depends from the position of each switch, knob and selector, and from controled voltages inside the machine
Highly recommended - maybe there is still one available . . .
