Moog Guitar garners POPULAR SCIENCE Best of What's New Award

Post by moogmusic » Mon Nov 10, 2008 1:46 pm

Fresh from winning 2008 Summer NAMM "Best In Show" honors, the Moog Guitar has won a 2008 “Best of What’s New Award” from Popular Science magazine. The Moog Guitar was selected in the Recreation category, competing against thousands of new products reviewed by the magazine’s editors. To win, a product must represent a significant step forward in its category, according to Popular Science Editor-in-Chief Mark Jannot.

“For 20 years, Popular Science’s Best of What’s New awards have honored the innovations that make a positive impact on life today and change our views of the future. Our editors evaluate thousands of products each year to develop this thoughtful list; there’s no higher accolade Popular Science can give,” Jannot said.

Only 100 Best of What’s New Award winners were chosen in 11 categories.

The Moog Guitar is featured in Popular Science magazine’s special Best of What’s New December issue, on newsstands November 11.
