Man I feel like I must be privileged or something, I can't believe that there are all these folks who haven't got their Moogs yet. Believe me I am not exactly anyone special, not in my eyes anyway.

I sure hope you all get em really soon and love em.

Congratulations mate, I sure hope you feel that way about it I do.

I put the Mooger Fooger on it yesterday and it is a totally amazing system, especially for finger-picking. It's pretty hot for regular picking as well.

Stuart

m-fooger

Post by Theremint » Wed Feb 04, 2009 5:53 pm

Stuartpa, What kind of Fooger will give me some great sounds? I was a bit foggy about the Vo guitar's onboard Envelope/Ladder effects being equal to a fooger 102 and some other fooger. I don't want to duplicate what I already paid for that is built in. Do you know which ones are built in so I can move on to the next batch of m-foogers that will give other sounds?

Actually the Ladder/Envelope is referring to the MF101 Filter.

Beyond that I don't know.

MY MOOG VO GUITAR WAS DELIVERED TODAY.

Post by Theremint » Fri Mar 06, 2009 7:57 pm

MY MOOG VO GUITAR WAS DELIVERED TODAY.

"Oh Happy Day"... everyone sing along now...

It has fulfilled my wildest guitar dreams, don't worry, my dreams aren't too wild. Playing this guitar is like experiencing driving a Cadillac for the first time after driving a Volkswagen bug all your life. I'm playing it through a 15Watt Orange Tiny Terror Combo and the sound is just delicious!!. "You get what you pay for" And this guitar is worth every penny spent on it. All the videos and Youtube films really don't capture the sound quality at all. You just have to jam on one for yourself and you'll see.

So far, I can't find a thing wrong with it. It seems to be "Par Excellence"

The Vo Power Sustain is Shag-a-delic Baby.

Yes you are in Moog heaven now.

Enjoy.

Id like to see some pics when you get the Taurus in too.

Im waiting on my RME number for my Theremin and then its the long wait for the Taurus pedals. Then I have to figure out what I can do to come up with 2400 dollars for the rest of the foogers, the multipedal and the rack cabinet.

Whereas I need to wait for Kevin to fix his airbrush, finish building and modifying stuff, get the rest of the MoogerFoogers, get a Voyager or two, another LP, a PA system, a .com or two, and purchase a house to fill this stuff with. I'd say you got the better deal.
Minitaur, CP-251, EHX #1 Echo, EHX Space Drums/Crash Pads, QSC GX-3, Pyramid stereo power amp, Miracle Pianos, Walking Stick ribbon controller, Synthutron.com, 1983 Hammond organ, dot com modular.
