Will the technology inside the discontinued Moog Guitar be available again sooner or later?

Paul Vo, the inventor and originator of the technology used in the Moog Guitar, has gone in his own direction developing circuitry that transforms guitars into instruments that are capable of true acoustic synthesis. This interface is called the Vo-96.

Basically, it's one of the first truly portable self-amplifying synthesizers. It's an amazingly inspiring innovation. I had one installed in an acoustic guitar and it's now my favorite guitar to play.

I've been following Paul Vo website for a while and I'm very intrigued on the VO-96. But since I play mostly electric(and I'm sobbing about the Moog Guitar I was forced to sell sometimes ago...) I'd like to know if there is some development on the electric side...
