Out of tune

Post by louis vdl » Sun Jul 25, 2010 11:26 am

Yelloh,

Just got myself a LP, and I was wandering that it is normal when I power up the LP, it is heavily out of tune. Is this a usual problem or not? I checked the autotune parameter in the menu but everything seems normal. So now, every time when I start up my LP, I've to tweak it manually. I'm sure there must be a reason to avoid this problem, so I hope somebody can help me out.

Cheers

Louis

It is normal for analog to be out if tune at first, but teh LP should be pretty stable after a few minutes. Once the LP has wamed up for a few minutes does the auto tune work then, or do you have ti keep manually adjusting it ?

If you haven't read the fine manual (RTFM) and how to run a calibration on the LP. Easy to do and wiil not take much time. Befroe running it though let the LP warm up for about 30 minutes.

Have fun
