So I have an acoustic electric guitar that I want to run through my LP and see what all the fuss is about, and I ran a quarter inch from my guitar to the audio input on my LP and the sound of the guitar was barely audible at full volume, and only audible when the LP's filter cutoff and resonance were turned almost all the way up. Is there something I am missing or not doing properly? I would really appreciate it if someone would point me in the right direction. Thanks so much!
Kenny

Guitar pickups are high-impedance devices, and they put out an "instrument level" signal. The LP input works with "line level" signals, so you will need to use a DI box when connecting your guitar to it, or else it will sound thin and weak, like you have already discovered.
Here is a cheap example:

Or, if you have any other device that brings a guitar up to line level, such as a Line6 POD, you can also use that.

Thanks, that makes sense. Yeah I kinda figured I was missing out on some step of the process. I'll get my hands on one....
