how to send a clock signal?

maybe i'm missing something but i'm not able to send a clock speed from my imac to my phatty. tap tempo button works fine but after a few seconds it runs out of sync.
help would be wonderful

Are you trying to sync the ARP or the LFO with the midi clock?
