Customized LP pics

Post by Kenneth » Sun Apr 26, 2009 7:53 pm

Anyone who has had any custom work done on their LP, feel free to share photos!

I'm having a set of custom wood side panels done for mine, by a business out of Seattle called Synthwood. Check them out: http://synthwood.com/ :D

Here's the Little Phatty at its new location at the foot of my bed.

I really like this one! Amos thought white would show up better, but when it didn't, he signed it again in silver! The outcome is very 1980's. Cool, huh?

Just a different view of the Phatty. With different lights lit.

These were posted a long time ago. There are more recent pics on my flickr page. 8)

That's a Stage I. They'll also do a Stage II side, as that just requires another inch or so to be cut.

My LP is a Stage II. The guy doing the panels doesn't have any Stage II panels in his workspace, so I might have to end up sending him mine

Just send him the left one. He can flip it over to make the right one.

that's what I plan on doing if I do have to send them in...
Voltor, have you gone through Synthwood in Seattle for any customization, or did you just have it done at the Moog factory?

I don't have wood panels...yet. Actually, one of my co-workers knows someone who does wood work and inlay, so I'll be going through them. It'll probably cost me less. Otherwise, I'd go through synthwood. I've heard nothing but good things about them from a number of people. The only thing my LP has gone back to the factory for was LED's.

Synthwood does do LED customization too... follow the link and check out what they've done to a Prodigy and even a couple Minimoogs...it's amazing!
I'm wondering, how much did those LEDs cost you?
