Tuning issues

Post by Fusionhead » Sun Feb 15, 2009 11:15 am

I am having trouble tuning my little Phatty. I get to middle C and it drops down a 5th. I re calibrated multiple times and set to factory it still can't get to the range of norm. The closest I got it, it played a fifth out. Please help!

did you try manually tuning it with a chromatic tuner or just by ear? that might help you, otherwise you might have to send it to the factory for a recalibration!

Yeah but it doesn't get with in range. It doesn't sweep a full octave.

are you having trouble with your pitch wheel? if so, you could try recalibrating that. other than recalibrating though, i really haven't got anything else. sorry man.

Thank you. I appreciate the advice. I re-calibrated everything. maybe I didn't calibrate the pitch wheel properly. I will try that again. Will that cause a crazy tuning? It sounds great until I get to middle C then C# drops a couple octaves out and then goes back up to D.
