What stand do you use for the LP and Prophet?
It's a little hard to find inexpensive 2-tier stands that narrow enough for the LP without raising the height (typical x-stands) cos i sit when i play. And my hands get aching after few minutes because of the height.

I'm now using proline stand and bought the additional second tier for it (alesis ion on the bottom & LP on the top), but i have to bend the position both of the second tier bars towards the middle to get it narrower and secure them with the middle rod without screw em cos the position is kinda awkward for it to get screwed, just so it wont bend over and fall off by the weight. Takes a little time for me to adjust it though, i wonder it's gonna be hassle to take it to the gig.

It a RTX keyboard stand, like this one http://guitare.playback-europe.com/prod ... leguide_UK
I couldn't find an official site, but I suppose they're widely available.
When I bought the Prophet, I found an extension of the same brand, that fixes on top.

Hi, thanks for the link!
May i know the width between bars on it's lowest height, and how low can it go? also does the 2nd tier's angle adjustable?
Sorry for those questions

Haha, you're welcome
I'll have to check out on the width tonight but I can already tell that the top stand's angle is indeed adjustable, in that the Prophet 08 on this pic could be higher (or lower if the Moog was flatter!)

About the RTX stand, the lowest height is 66cms, and then the width is 45cms

Simple solution is to set your stand for the exact height you're comfortable with. Then measure, cut and paint a thin piece of plywood to set on top exclusively for your phatty.

Wow, this going to be perfect, but hold on .. is that 66cm of height and 45cm of width a combination on one setting? or you just mentioned each narrowest and lowest? Thanks for your time.

Been thinking about that too, but the edge holder wouldn't be able to function cos i put a little angle on it as the LP is on the 2nd tier .. hmm i guess the other solution here is to find higher chair lol :D

That's right, one setting
When the stand is at its lowest, you got a 45cms width with a 66cms height

Khoral, what's the weight limit of that thing?

According to the official specs, 70kgs, which seems odd to me but there you go
At least I know it can stand a Phatty!

Cool, thanks! That's a lot of weight for a single braced X stand. That's like, over 140 Lbs! 2.2 Lbs=1 Kg.
