Mine arrived today, but I have yet to try it out. I'm just getting my little studio back to normal after a show last week, and I have no idea where to put it!

Mine just came. Good thing I bought a bunch of patch cables this weekend! And considering that I sent the form in in mid-January, it looks like Moog was right on schedule with me.

I look forward to trying it out... but I gotta play rockabilly and blues guitar this afternoon.

As for where to put it... I have a nice conductor's music stand that will be its home, along with the Electribe that I plan to get very soon... The stand lets me place the CP directly above the LP.

stopped by the house for lunch and found my CP-251 on the porch. I purchased my LP SE II on December 26.

I would like to thank Moog for making that free CP-251 offer available. It was a very generous incentive that will continue to be rewarding long after my date of purchase.

Any news on the shipment of my Taurus III pedals? just kidding, just kidding :)

So...timmy made his purchase on 12/26, eh? I made mine on 12/30-31. That means...hopefully this week for my CP-251! :D

...I suspect I'm gonna need a VX-351 and a bracket with that, too

Vince - the tip off was when I noticed the UPS charge from Moogmusic on my account last Wednesday. I knew it would be a matter of days....................... And this evening my house is going to sound like a UFO landing strip!

Well... I only got to play with it for about 45 minutes today... But it was fun. Especially when I plugged the LP into my Small Stone. I found myself thinking "damn, I gotta get some more foogers..." which is, I suspect, why Moog made the 251s part of the deal.

That makes sense. We'll give you the interface; you need to buy the 'Foogers. Brilliant marketing, I must say.

So which fooger should I get next?

You have Little Phatty and the CP-251? I'd go for the ring mod.

I second the ring mod.

Also, while alot of people would turn their noses up in a heartbeat about paying 700 bucks for a delay...the Moog Delay is superb. You buy it and you want to use it on everything.

Yep. And you can get some great effects when using it with the CP-251. Modulated delays (for chorus sounds or octave leaping repeats), S&H controlled feedback, etc.

Well... It never occurred to me to try my EHX Frequency Analyzer with the LP... Hmmm... maybe I'll see how it like some ring mod action...
