Precise value for waveforms.

Post by Celluloide » Mon Jan 12, 2009 5:24 am

Please anyone let me know precise values for those pure waveforms like Sawtooth, Square. Then I can select them with value control in precise control menu in LCD.

I'm sure if it is pure square waveform or not, though the manual says the value '2048' is square waveform regarding the calibration preset.

Thanks in advance.

You know, theres a possibillity that what we dial in as a wave ont he panel may very well not be precicely a pure wave. And considering that were dealing with Analogue, it may very well be a different amount from unit to unit.

Like on the Ring Modulator, it has a sine wave, but its more closer to a triangle.

I guess the onyl way we can really be sure is with a scope.

Thanks, Eric K. I know what you mean. But the manual says a value for Square wave forms. So I thought if anyone knows the values for pure waveforms, it is not actually precise value due to analog waveform caracteristics though.
